DESCRIPTION

Women on a Roll - Amsterdam is a short documentary (+-15 min) that travels through the past, the present and the future of the roller skating culture in the city of Amsterdam, through the eyes of three women. Skating at iconic places, such as the RAI Hall 1 or The Eye Film Museum Promenade, we will also find out how the public spaces have been redefined to accommodate this reviving trend.

In a cinematic style, we will explore the story of roller skating with the voice over and the moves of iconic skaters from this city, and with the music from artists from The Netherlands.

WHAT WE DID?

After having a VIP Premiere at Het Ketelhuis in Amsterdam by the end of June, the film is being distributed worldwide to more than 250 festivals focused on documentaries and sports, with the expertise of YAQ Distribution.
